When your situation seems hopeless
Have you ever found yourself in a hopeless situation? Perhaps you've found yourself surrounded by people that did not do you any good, maybe you have found yourself overpowered with financial strain and stress, possibly you have bumped yourself carrying out some type of personal trouble inside your home that caused you to find yourself pinned in the difficulty and dilemma of desperation?
Once you are experiencing hopelessness, it's easy to think that God has forgotten you. Nothing could represent more of the fact. It is when you are experiencing lost.. God gives the best for you. Whenever I feel lost, I must admit...I think that God does not love me.
But I was wrong...really wrong.
Occasionally it is a battle to even exist one day at one time, merely centering sharply on the task at hand. Exhausts several of the intimidation away of life. Jesus promised us not to be troubled about tomorrow. Whenever you brace oneself for tomorrow by making the best you can today, you will overcharge tomorrow from a lot of its fears.
I Let go of the past, you should too...
I remember the time when I was so desperate to go the United States as a nurse, I've finished all the subjects, I've finished and passed all the exams, My mother payed all the payables just to get to my dream country and landed on my dream job. unfortunately, I wasn't able to bring forth to that dream. and I was desperate and hopeless for two years. I blame myself, I blame the recession, I regret taking nursing...I was not happy.
But God has a reason...
We enter our comfort zone and do not prefer to change… it is amusing however we are constantly living in the past... It is odd however we center on how matters used to be, what we accustomed to have… What we utilized to act… there is nothing wrong with memories…therefore a lot of times we give up and go down for anything rather by having all that God has for us. We find fault it with past failures… Past heartbreaks… Past bitterness … just if you are becoming to act to your fate, you have to Let Go of the Past! and move on.
I let go...and tell him "Lord, I surrender...Ikaw na ang bahala sa akin, you know what's best for me"
God can be trusted.
He does want the best for you. Grasping those truths will take time and effort on your part. Jesus never acted out of desperation or hopelessness, and he wants that same assurance in your life.
And I am now happy. Thank you Lord

Coping With Disappointment in As Easy As 1-2-3
There will come a point in your life when you would want something seriously but fail to have it in the end.
The tendency is to feel disappointed over the turn of events, the people involved in it, or yourself. Even those who claim to be emotionally tough also get troubled with disappointment from time to time.
Disappointment can make you lose focus, or the enthusiasm to do your regular chores. In this situation, the importance of coping with disappointment cannot be underrated. Below are a few friendly tips on how you can be your jolly self again despite the disappointment.
Look on the Brighter Side of Things
Some things happen for a reason. But if such a reason is not clearly visible, you can charge it to experience. All things that happen in life, whether good or bad, should make us better than who we were before. Well, this may sound old hat and you have likely heard this somewhere before.
You can try to cheer yourself up by going shopping or food tripping, or whatever else takes your fancy but it probably will not help settle the issue as a whole.
Disappointment is a state of mind, and unless you do something to change your view of things, it will happen again and again until you cannot take any more of it.
Look on the brighter side of things, or if possible, find humor in it.
Learn to Forgive Yourself
Being disappointed with yourself can be the hardest feeling and can leave you sleepless for nights.
Playing the incident in your mind over and over again, thinking about the "what ifs", or what could have been had you done it differently, will only make you looking like a zombie in the morning.
There is no use dwelling on past actions that you can no longer change, nor a sense in being hard on yourself. None of these can make the situation better. There are things that you just don't have control over, and you must learn to accept it.
What you can do instead is, think about what you can do next to make up for what happened - to regain your self-confidence, or the trust of the people you may have hurt in the process (or that may have hurt you).
It is also true that an opportunity may knock only once but there are other more promising opportunities out there waiting for you to get your hands on them.
You may have failed this time but it doesn't mean that you are a failure. Learn to forgive yourself so you can easily move on and prove your worth again.
"Prevention is better than a cure", as the old adage goes.
It will help to lower your expectations sometimes or rather not to expect anything at all in order not to get disappointed.
Do not always think about what other people will say about you, they have their own business to attend to.
Nobody is perfect, and being as human as you can be is not something to be embarrassed about. Also, learn to forgive, so you or the person who disappointed you can both get on with life.

Finding Inspiration from Cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao
The way I see it, with Alodia Gosiengfiao, she enjoys the passion of cosplaying. I've been a fan of this beautiful lady. And for those of you who still don't know Alodia Gosienfiao..click here.
Why you should be inspired by Alodia Gosiengfiao?
She loves what she's doing. Generally speaking, many people tend to see other people's situation better than their own and wish to change something about themselves, if they can afford to. Alodia Gosiengfiao saw this when she was also starting as a cosplayer. Eversince she was a child.
She is confident about herself. When you learn how to gain confidence naturally and enjoy life you will be able to make such a difference in your life. Also, some people exhibit excessive self confidence though in truth, they're hiding behind the veneer of lack of self confidence or low self esteem.
She is not perfect. But Alodia's fans thinks she is...and I do to! with just a smile on her face. She makes everybody's day perfect. =)
Alodia Gosiengfaio's cosplaying is a hobby. As
with most hobbies, it can get expensive and time-consuming. But any cosplayer
who has had the pride and enjoyment of wearing the costume they created
themselves and being recognized by other fans as that character can tell you... priceless.
My blog is just about things or events that really inspire me. When you learn how to gain confidence naturally and enjoy life you will be able to make such a difference in your life. You don't need to be like Alodia Gosiengfiao. You just have to be YOU. She's just an instrument and an inspiration that you too can be GREAT.

Stop Procrastination- Just do it!
In our society people can name a hundred reasons or shall I say "excuses" why they should not do something that they dream of doing, while finding one good reason is hard to find. We have become a culture full of dreamers, "one day I am going to..." We have become scared of taking a risk for fear of failure and continue to wait for the right time to pursue our goals.
What are you waiting for? There will never be anyone who gives you permission to go for what you want. It is up to you to begin to seize the day. The right time is NOW. Get rid of the "should haves" and "could haves" There is no reason why someone else is living out your dream except for the fact that they decided to take action. Just Do It!
Intention: To day I will take steps to "doing" actions that lead me closer to my dreams becoming my reality.

5 Reasons to Hug Somebody Today
5 Reasons To Hug Somebody Today
Hugs are an important expression of affection. By hugging someone, you remind them that you care about them and support them. I remember the time when I was a child. I am not fond of hugging my mother because my mother is not used to hugging me either. My mother is always busy with her business and my father as well. The only hug I remember when I was a child was from my grandfather. Every time he walks inside the house, he will look for me and hug me then give me his “pasalubong”.
The time comes when my grandfather died, then do not have now someone to hug me. I was very sad and yearn for his presence. When I got sick at the age of 18 due to Dengue fever. I remember my mother was with me all the time. During that time I felt her love by taking good care of me. I remember when they told me I lost consciousness. My mother was crying and she hugged me so much. I do not remember her hug.
But my “heart” do remember.
From that day on, I will always treasure that moment. For that moment was the only moment that I felt unconditional love from my mother. Every time my mother hugs me, I can't help myself but cry.
Well, this is just a sharing from my personal experience. The experience that a simple hug can really make a difference. A big one.
So for a little inspiration to increase your happiness, here are the top five reasons to hug somebody today:
1 For couples. Grab a Kiss and Hug. Remember when you first starting dating and you couldn’t keep your hands off of each other? You took every opportunity to grab a discrete kiss or hug or squeeze hands. Why stop showing affection? Not only does this remind you and your honey how important you are too each other, it’s actually good for you!
2 Hugging sure beats crying. Hug a friend in need; I am pretty sure your friend will never forget the caring you showed during the time of need.
3 Love makes the world go 'round, hugs help you gather it in. A hug can be given for no reason at all and given to those, both big and small. We’re never too old to feel the joy it brings as it is one of life’s most pleasing things.
4 For parents. Do you hug them often? You should! If you want to see your mom cries…hug her and tell her how much you love her from the very moment you saw her too. It’s never too late to express your love by hugging her right?
5 And the most important thing. Hug yourself. Love yourself. Always pay yourself first. Face the mirror and tell yourself “You are awesome”

7 Tips on How to Grow Old - And Not Mind It
Not all of us can go to a foreign country but, long before old age, everyone can begin to look forward to learning new things, to pursuing pastimes and developing skills. you can expose yourself to new interests in many ways, such as browsing through library shelves, attending lectures, joining in civic or welfare activities. Inquiry into things that are new to you quickens the mind and heart.
2 Be eager to continue you life.
Aging is a process in which most people do more things for the last time, and fewer for the first time. Reverse that and you have an antidote for growing old.
3 Be affectionate
Love is one of the most powerful stimulants to a longer, happier life. Human warmth is, of course, not limited to romantic love; devotion to your fellow man serves equally well. The faculty of being genuinely concerned about others enriches anyone's life. The earlier one acquires it, the better fortified he will be for his later years.
4 Don't let emotions rule you.
Giving in to anger is one of our unhealthiest habits. Avoid heated arguments and strong emotional conflicts.
5 Don't Worry
Worry is just a bad emotional habit; like any habit, it can be broken if you make sufficient effort.
6 Make friends easily
as you grow older you must accustom yourself to the loss of lifelong friends and be prepared to make others. To do so, you must have something to offer. You don't need money; offer whatever is pleasant and useful in you.
7 Have religious faith
Religious counselors agree that the real comfort of faith comes but faintly to elderly persons who have previously neglected it. How much richer life is for those whose faith helps them constantly during the stresses and trials of everyday living.

7 Simple Tips For Cultivating Tons Of Confidence
1 Spend time each day with confident people.
Their energy and inner strength is so inspiring that you will find yourself feeling more empowered just by listening to them talk.
And you can get tips from them. All you need to do is ask! Even one good idea could point you in a whole new direction you would not have otherwise considered.
2 Find a mentor.
Nearly all successful people have a mentor. You too need someone who has already done what you are working to achieve who is willing to advise you.
This person will help you to succeed even more quickly than you can imagine. Remember, two minds are better than one.
When you have someone who believes in you and you have a plan you believe in -- your confidence will soar.
3 Understand that confidence is only a feeling.
Have you ever felt confident? If you have ever felt confident in any situation then you can feel confident again in the future.
How? By re-accessing that confident feeling. This is something that is worth doing every day. Spend 15 minutes a day reliving occasions in your life when you felt confident. Imagine it all
in rich detail and pay very close attention to the feelings of confidence.
After only a few days, feeling confident will become a good habit.
4 List your reasons to be confident
Becoming aware of why you can be confident will help you get back on track. Make a list of at least 50 reasons why you can be confident today. Include previous successes, your skills and
qualities, your support network and your goals. Put down everything that pops into your mind.
After you have done this you will have tapped into the power of consistency. You will be under pressure to be consistent with your own logic that stated you can be confident.
5 Make a public declaration
Tell someone whose opinion you value that you will be confident at a particular event. Your desire to impress this person will cause you to do all that you can to be at your very best.
And when you demand more of yourself you will be amazed at what you can do. You will start finding solutions to problems that left you stuck and you will seek advice from people who can help you.
6 Preparation makes perfect
Have you ever watched a top sportsperson in action and wondered to yourself at how easy she makes it look? Or listened to your favorite music CD and felt inspired by the talent of the singer?
Think. How did these superstars get to the top? Practice, practice and more practice. I read an article about Pavarotti, the opera singer, and he said he practices daily and he still learns something new about his voice each day!
When you spend more time honing your skills your confidence will soar because you will know with certainty that you can and will perform when the curtain goes up.
7 Self comparison is key
Compare your progress in life with your previous results. Look to the success of others to learn and not to measure your own success.
When you put your focus on the daily improvement of your own skills and abilities you can and will grow very quickly. And your confidence will surge.
Confidence without competence is a dangerous combination.
Make it easy for yourself and only engage in Self comparison when
you are assessing your progress. By doing this you will make it
easier to keep at it when the going gets tough and your
competence will grow day by day.
